Cisco公司在2006年9月底将CCSP认证的考试科目作了变动，原有的642-551科目更新为642-552。新版CCSP的考试共有五门必考科目，这五门科目的考试号为：642-552、 642-502、642-532、642-522、642-513或642-511。证书有效期为3年。
CCSP 考试条件：必须持有有效的CCNA or CCIP 证书
CCSP再认证方法：通过642-541 CSI 考试或通过一门CCIE笔试。
